From the first time I picked up a guitar and learned to play my first song, I knew right then and there, I had found my calling. Ever since I was a child, music was always a driving force in my day to day routine. Once I realized I could actually play along with the songs that moved me so much, I was hooked. That started me down a path, that to this day, has been the most rewarding endeavor of my life. In 2001, I attended and graduated from the Atlanta Institute of Music, and have been teaching professionally ever since. In addition to teaching, I’ve participated in numerous musical projects over the years, including being in over 20 successful groups, playing on 6 studio albums, organizing band camps for kids during the summer, and performing at countless events all over the United States, as well as abroad.
