When it comes to teaching music, or any art form for that matter, there is no one right way. Some people learn visually, where as others need a more mathematical approach. When looking for a teacher, you should seek out someone who can adapt to the way that you learn best. There are many roads you can take to get to the same destination, as long as you get there; which is why I approach each student independently.  It makes no difference if you’re 5 or 65, I can get you where you want to be in a way that will make sense to you.
